SEMH Teaching Assistant

Career Teachers are seeking to appoint two appropriately Teaching Assistants with a keen interest in the behaviours and development of children.
You will be working in a specialist school in Manchester that caters for pupils with SEMH as well as pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of permanent exclusion from secondary education.
The successful candidate must therefore be a highly motivated, qualified teaching assistant with a flexible approach and be able to work across KS3 and KS4 with pupils of all abilities.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be able to work using your initiative and follow direction when needed.
- Have prior experience of working with children with SEMH.
- Have the ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff.
- Have experience of implementing specific learning strategies and routines.
- Be a professional practitioner, with a will to attain the highest standard in teaching and learning
