Learning Support Assistant

Do you have experience working with children and young adults?

Career Teachers are looking for enthusiastic learning support assistants to work in a Special Needs School in Trafford that caters for students aged 16-19 with learning difficulties, disabilities, complex health needs and autism.

The roles will be full-time on a supply basis with the opportunity of becoming permanent after 12 weeks.

To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Have experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) either in a school, college or care setting
• A strong desire to have an impact on the lives of vulnerable young people
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Be able to build strong relationships with both students and staff
