Career Teachers are recruiting a team of creche workers to support different charities and organisations to work with vulnerable families in the local community by supporting childcare and development, whilst parents attend training courses.
As a creche worker, you will be responsible for implementing a stimulating and varied programme of activities for children aged four and under, within a group setting and will carry out any other reasonable duties to enhance the quality of life of the children within your care.
- Ensure the overall safety and well-being of the children
- Provide a caring, stimulating environment for the children
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene on the premises
- Keep parents up to date on their child's progress
- Help provide and take part in all activities
You will be working 2-3 hours per session for a minimum of 8 weeks and you choose what days of the week you want to work.
It is essential that you have a relevant level 2 or 3 childcare qualification and that you have recent experience within an educational setting, either in a school or nursery.
It would be advantageous if you are a car driver, but, this is not essential.
