Teaching Assistants required to work in Special Needs

North Leeds - Full Time

January 2024

At Career Teachers we are working with a welcoming special needs school in North Leeds who require an additional teaching assistant to join their team from January 2024.

You will be working 1:1 with a child who has complex learning needs, providing support throughout the school day and ensuring that you promote inclusivity in the classroom by creating an environment where the student has access to learning.

Previous experience of working with Autism, or a deep understanding of the autism spectrum is essential.

This role is full time, Monday to Friday, term time only. Your working hours will be 8.30-15.30.

We are looking for someone who is reliable and dedicated. The student needs consistency and routine, your main role will be to establish a trusting relationship and ensuring that the child is engaged in the learning using methods that work well for their learning needs.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
