Career Teachers are working with a primary school looking for a 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with autism and other learning difficulties. This Primary school is based in a diverse community in the London borough of Croydon.

Person Specification - SEN TA - Croydon

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant must have experience or qualification of working with children on a 1:1 basis with ASD and other learning difficulties.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have relevant and recent experience within the past year
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Be creative & proactive in approach to learning.
  • Carry out duties as directed by the class teacher & SENco
  • Good team player who is able to make an impact on the outcome of the children's learning.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
