Special Educational Needs Teacher- SEND Teacher- SEN Teacher
An independent school for children with moderate learning difficulties is looking for a passionate, forward thinking teacher to join their team from September. There are two vacancies across KS2.
If you are an experienced teacher of SEND or a primary teacher looking to move across into Special Education I want to hear from you!
The school is currently a primary setting for children aged 4-11, which will expand to cover secondary age pupils from September 2021 in a well equipped, modern and expertly designed new site. The children follow the Jewish curriculum, and take on students with Autism (ASC), ADHD and Downs Syndrome as an example. They have a creative approach to learning and it is a rare opportunity for those that love to teach to really allow themselves the opportunity to find their creative streak in the role.
The school encourages applications from staff who do not follow the Jewish faith and have a mixed cohort of both staff and pupils. The team is vibrant, multicultural and social, and encourage applications from staff with a drama/arts/creative background to fit in with their hands on and innovative approach to learning
Applications are also encouraged from those who would like to develop and progress their careers. As the school grows, so will the opportunity for progression.
