SEND Supply Teacher- SLD/ASD/PMLD

A number of inspiring supply teachers of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are required for a large all-through school for children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) including Autism (ASC) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The school is well resourced and currently in a period of expansion and growth. As a response to the fantastic progress made by students, the number of classes will increase in September. There will be an increased need for a small, controlled pool of supply staff to be available to work locally (and to avoid public transport if possible).

Given this expansion will happen off the back of a period of school closures as a result of Covid-19, the school is keen to find members of staff who are flexible, amenable and come with a proactive attitude and team ethic. The encourage supply staff to participate in the wider school community and would encourage the same of ad-hoc supply staff who are operating within a 'bubble'.

Applications are encouraged from NQTs who may have missed out on a second placement and those who would like a more flexible approach to working.

Interviews will take place virtually and applicants will be assessed as they apply.
