Career Teachers are pleased to be working with a mainstream school in Liverpool, L35 area who are looking to recruit an Intervention Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
This role involves working with small groups of children with specific learning needs and you will be using the school's intervention programmes. Some training will be given for the programmes but experience working with Specific Learning Disabilities (SpLD) is essential.
The children needing support range from Y2 to Y6 and have moderate to mild learning difficulties. Working on specific targets and keeping daily records of progress and next steps is essential and must be fed back to the class teacher daily
The school is in a one form entry and resides in a lovely rural area of L35. The children have access to Forest School provision so some outdoor activities may be required. The role requires you to work Monday - Friday 08.30am - 3.30pm.
