Year 6 Teacher - Wandsworth, South West London - January 2018
In this exciting and challenging Year 6 Teacher position you will be leading a mixed-ability Year 6 class of around 28 pupils. The school will enrol you onto their comprehensive CPD schemes to develop your teaching techniques and approach.
Day-to-day, you will be expected to plan effective and engaging lessons and monitor pupil progress closely, ensuring that your class has the right balance to maximise learning potential. You will work alongside a hard-working and extremely capable TA who is on hand to support the development of your class in any way you need. To ensure you find your feet and integrate quickly into your new environment you will be welcomed to the school by and paired up with an 'Outstanding' teacher who also works as a Year 6 Teacher and will be happy to show the ropes and answer any day to day questions and queries you may have.
