The school opened in 2010 into a brand new £48m building and since opening has gone from strength to strength and now holds an excellent reputation across north London and is heavily oversubscribed. The school has a track record of excellent academic results. In 2017 43% of GCSE grades were at A*/A or 9-7, and well over a quarter of their students achieved eight A/7 grades or better. The school had its last Ofsted inspection in 2016 and was graded as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features, including their 6th form and their provision for students with Special Educational Needs. The school are proud of their outward-looking and pluralist Jewish ethos and they welcome staff and children from different cultures and faiths. About the role - The school are looking for a dynamic and flexible Teacher to join their Science department. The faculty includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology, and is housed in excellent facilities with ample resources and a strong sense of Faculty cohesion. They currently teach the AQA Science specifications at both KS4 and KS5 and have seen 80% of grades at A Level Science at B or above. The role has become available due to a planned absence of a member of staff so they need a well-qualified science teacher to teach general Science at Key Stage 3 and Physics and/or Chemistry to Key Stage 4. Additional responsibilities may be available for suitable qualified and experienced candidates.
