A lovely two form entry Primary school in North West London, Brent is seeking experienced and hardworking SEND Teaching Assistant for a full time, long term, position starting immediately.

The school is looking for two SEND teaching assistants to work 1:1 with a Year 6 ASD pupil and Year 1 ASD pupil who is non - verbal so any knowledge of Makaton/Pecs would be an advantageous.

You must be a strong candidate who will be able to support the class teacher in delivering engaging and challenging lessons. As well as supporting the child's learning, you will be required to do cover play times and lunchtimes, prepare resources and work well as part of a team.

Previous SEND skills are desirable, in particular Makaton and PECs. You must be able to support them in terms of behaviour, emotional and learning needs. You will need to have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
