Qualified Media Studies Teacher required for Outstanding Secondary school

I am currently recruiting for a KS4 & 5 Media StudiesTeacher to work on a long-term, full time basis in an outstanding school based within Kensington & Chelsea.

Person Specification

The ideal teacher must hold QTS or equivalent and must be able to commit for half a term or more.

The school will happily welcome newly qualified teachers (NQTs) keen to launch their career in teaching.

You must be a teacher dedicated in aiding the learning of children and aim to raise attainment.

Successful Teachers will be subject to references and a DBS on the update service or be happy to apply for a new DBS.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Development of Key Stage 3-4 schemes of work to improve teaching and learning
  • Monitoring of curriculum delivery in Key Stage 3
  • Monitoring of pupil attainment in Key Stage 3
  • Co-ordination of displays within the Faculty and other areas of the school
  • Supporting staff development to improve teaching in Key Stage 3
  • Developing and improving the quality of homework in Key Stage 3
  • Recording pupil attainment at Key Stage 3
  • Ensure a successful transition from primary phase
