Person Specification - Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA) - London
The successful Teaching Assistant (TA) applicant will be a recent university graduate or current postgraduate student; hold strong literacy and numeracy skills; a specialist in English, Mathematics or a Science subject; be enthusiastic, proactive and engaging; be able to provide effective support to all children under direction of the subject teachers, including those with special educational needs; be approachable to all pupils and act as a behavioural role model.
Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
About the Role -Teaching Assistant (TA)
As a SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) you will be supporting pupils in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, fostering a love of learning. These roles are daily supply and short term, but with opportunities to lead onto a longer term position, with competitive rates of pay, starting from £70 per day, reflecting previous experience working with children and workload.
