Career Teachers is currently working with a special educational needs school in Slough that are wanting to recruit qualified experienced teachers.

Applicants should have a QTS and experience of working with children or young people with severe learning difficulties and complex needs in either an Educational or Care setting. A background in supporting children with Autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties is preferable.

This role requires you to attend to personal needs, including pastoral, social, health, physical hygiene, minor first aid and welfare matters. You must be able to establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model by presenting a positive personal image. This role requires you to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.

Staff members are expected to hold high expectations of the team to support the development of the students and follow the behavioural policy set out by the senior leadership. Students are academically successful however a strong classroom presence and setting clear boundaries will be required in all classroom settings.

For this role you must hold a recognised teaching qualification and have recent UK experience. Interviews will be held ASAP.

You will become part of a well-resourced Key stage 2 department assisted by a progressive, responsive and dynamic senior leadership team the school is able to support a strong Maths NQT or an experienced Teacher who is looking for a position that will allow career development and progression.
