Our Client creates experience programmes for school and university students. Founded in 2012, They have had over 30,000 students walk through our doors from more than 2000 schools, colleges, and universities from around the world. More than 200 professionals from the fields of Investment Banking, Law, Medicine, Engineering, Politics, Journalism and more have contributed to their programmes.

Their mission is to deliver professional experiences to young people that they would otherwise consider a far-flung fantasy. The daily priority is to provide students with a first-class experience, from the moment they hear about our organisation to the point at which they return home from one of our programmes. At every single touch point we are rigorously dedicated to creating 'raving fans', and adopt a 'continuous improvement' mindset. On top of this, we are responsible for thousands of students every year, and so must maintain rigorous and robust safeguarding procedures.

About the Role

The role of the Programme & Guardianship Manager is to help create 'raving fans' every day, as well as ensure a safe environment. This includes:

  • leader on all matters related to the safeguarding and welfare of our students, reporting directly to the Directors on designing and implementing best-in-class processes and outcomes in this regard
  • Taking full control of some programmes (following comprehensive training).

This will include:

  1. A creative aspect: designing descriptions, timetables and activities for students
  2. A logistical aspect: sourcing and co-ordinating professional speakers and their materials; managing the venue hire process; producing registers; procuring printed materials; arranging and managing event staff; and managing student feedback
  • Management of recruitment, on boarding and training of guardians for our residential programmes
  • Researching and developing new careers and countries to deliver programmes in
  • Unleashing your creative energy to consistently challenge how the student experience on our programmes can be improved

About You

You are somebody who has a deep passion for developing young people to fulfil their potential. You have, and can demonstrate, the following skills and interests:

  • Significant previous experience working with students aged between 11 and 18, for example, in the role of a teacher

Working schedule

9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday. Some weekend work will be required, but you will know dates for this well in advance, and be given time off in lieu during the weekdays

Location: Central London. Some international travel will be required
