This secondary school is a thriving 11 - 18 compressive school who are highly successful academically and each year many students go on to be Oxbridge candidates. This school is one of the most successful comprehensives in the UK, in terms of students going on to top universities. In 2011, the school gained Academy status which has helped the school to continue to offer the best possible provision to meet students' needs.
The school moved to a new site in 2010 and is now in a state of the art building include outstanding drama and dance studios, extensive music practice rooms, IT and media suites, specialist design technology rooms and well equipped laboratories.
They was rated good at the last ofsted inspection and are hoping to strive for outstanding in the next.
The school are looking to recruit a MFL for two terms starting in January 2018. The successful teacher will need to be able to plan prepare and teach both German and Spanish up to KS4 to be consider for this role.
