A position is available for an experienced and motivated Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, with a Primary School within the Slade Green area of Bexley.
This is an interesting and varied role, where you will split your time between offering some 1:1 support to children with Autism, and doing some intervention sessions with small groups.
You will support 2 very well behaved children within a Year 5 class, who have Autism, and need some additional support and focus on their learning. There is particular need for this within Maths and English. In addition, you will spend part of your day delivering intervention and booster sessions to children from Year 2. Due to the varied nature of this role, you are required to be dynamic and an all rounder.
This mainstream Primary School are based within Slade Green, which good transport links and staff parking available on site.
- An experienced and committed Teaching Assistant
- Prior experience of supporting children within the Primary age range, ideally those who have Autism
- A calm and nurturing approach, and the ability to be a consistent and warm figure for the children
The position is offered on a long term basis, with an ASAP start. It will continue until at least the end of the academic year, in July 2022.
Salary will be negotiable, from £70-85 per day.
