We are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant or HLTA to work with a GOOD Primary School in Tooting.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Start date: 6th January 2020
- Ongoing on a contract basis until at least July 2020
- London Borough of Merton - Tooting/Colliers Wood area
You will be working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, covering classes in the absence of the Class Teacher. Your days will be very varied, and you will work across all year groups, as required. The majority of your time will be spent covering whole classes, but you will be flexible in supporting the Class Teacher as needed.
Whilst you are covering classes, you will have the support of a TA within the classroom.
You will have prior experience of covering classes, and be confident in managing behaviour. Ideally, you will have previously worked across a range of year groups and be comfortable at all levels.
You will be an excellent all-rounder and be happy to be flexible and get involved with all aspects of school life.

It is not essential for you to hold a HLTA qualification, but you are required to have experience of covering classes.
