We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within an Autism specialist unit, attached to a mainstream Primary School in Sutton.
The ASD base support children who have Autism and other special educational needs. You will be working with small groups of children, and with children on a 1:1 basis to support them in their learning and play. The base has excellent facilities, with large outdoor learning spaces, sports and sensory facilities.
You will have a good knowledge of Autism, and experience in supporting children in this area. In addition, you will be flexible and willing to work hard to make a positive contribution to the children.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and experience of working within SEN. You will benefit from working alongside highly experienced colleagues within the unit, who you will be able to learn from.
This position is available to start from Monday 28th October, and will initially be on a temporary basis (until July 2020). There will be opportunities to remain with the school on a permanent contract from September 2020.
