Primary Teacher KS2

Salary: £140 to £227 per day (depending on experience)

Location: Fulham, London

Start date: 6th January 2020

Career Teachers are working with an OUTSTANDING Primary School in Fulham, who are looking to appoint an experienced Class Teacher to work with their Year 5 class, to cover maternity leave. The position is available for at least 2 terms, but there is potential that they could discuss a permanent contract with you for September 2020.


  • Long term planning for the year has already been done
  • PPA time given each week to allow for adjustments to the planning

  • Team work and collaboration is excellent among the teaching team

You will have support from the parallel Year 5 Class Teacher, and a highly experienced TA. The current Class Teacher is going on maternity leave in January and there will be an opportunity for a handover in December, before her departure, to ensure a smooth transition.

This position will suit an experienced Teacher, with a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.


  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have prior experience of teaching within KS2
  • A good knowledge of the curriculum
  • Able to commit to the role and school, on a full time basis for a minimum of 2 terms
  • An inspiring and engaging educator who is truly passionate about teaching
