Career Teachers are working with a mainstream Primary School who are looking to appoint a Speech and Language Assistant to join their team.
The role will involve working with children on a 1:1 basis, and in small groups, to support them with their learning. The children you will be working with have speech and language needs, so you will be helping them to grow and develop within this area.
To be successful within this role, you will be:
- Either an experienced Teaching Assistant with knowledge and skills in supporting children with Speech and Language needs
- Or a Speech and Language graduate, seeking to expand on your studies
You will also be an excellent communicator, with a good command of the English language. You will be hardworking, and highly passionate about improving outcomes for the children. You will enjoy seeing the development of the children that you are working with, and thrive off watching their achievements.
This Primary School is based within the London Borough of Greenwich. They have excellent facilities and are a truly innovate school. The pride themselves on offering the best possible education to their children.
The position is available for an ASAP start, but they may be able to wait for a January start for the right person.
