Career Teachers are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant, for a position working with a mainstream Primary School in the London Borough of Greenwich.
The role is available to start from 3rd May, and will continue until the end of the academic year, in July 2022.
Within this role, you will be covering classes in the absence of the Class Teacher. You will take responsibility for the class, alongside experienced Teaching Assistants. You will need to have good behaviour management skills, and be confident in managing a whole class.
The role will see you working with classes throughout the whole school. You will liaise closely with the Class Teachers, who will provide the planning for the lessons. You will need to foster a close working relationship with them to ensure that learning continues in their absence, and any issues/concerns are reported back accordingly.
The role will be very varied, and you will work with a wide range of children and staff.

- It is not essential that you hold a HLTA qualification, but you will need to have prior experience of covering classes
