A Secondary school in Bexley, South East London is seeking an experienced History Teacher for a position starting in January 2019. There wil also be an element of KS3 Geography teaching required as part of this timetable.

I am currently recruiting for a History Teacher, KS3/KS4 for a full time role at a secondary school located in the borough of Bexley. There is a requirement to teach lower KS3 Geography, this is just a small percentage of teaching on the timetable.

The expectation is that the teacher will plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that keep pupils focused on classwork and encourage progression and achievement.

Good behaviour management skills are needed and behaviour can be managed positively through planning and delivery of lessons by creating fun, constructive, interactive and inspiring lessons. This school values all pupils irrespective of their academic ability, with an understanding of individual at different stages.
