Teaching Assistant, full-time (school hours), Permanent contract

Grade: DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCEHours: 32hrs p/w, 39 weeks per year

We are a fresh and exciting school offering a specialist provision to support pupils with autism in South Leicestershire.

This growing venture will offer you room to expand into your new role and support your development.

Under the direction and supervision of a HLTA / teacher, you will contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities for groups and individual students, in accordance with school policies and procedures.

Specified work may be delivered to groups or 1-1, without the presence of a teacher, on an ongoing basis, or as part of routine timetabling. You will also routinely undertake additional responsibilities such as: cover supervision; coaching and mentoring; and contributing to policy development.Whatever your level of qualification or experience, we welcome you to get in touch to discover more about this exciting opportunity.
