Career Teachers is currently recruiting for Data Information Officer also responsible for school cover, within an outstanding through school based in the Ealing borough.
Under the line management of the Data Information Systems Manager, you will work flexibly to meet key deadlinesthroughout the academic year such as working on government returns or statistical data. The role also includes theadministration, organisation and smooth running of daily cover for staff absence including maintaining the CoverDiary, arranging cover for absent teachers and relevant support staff, meeting and greeting new supply staff and incases of emergency; covering classes in the absence of a teacher. The role also requires the management and distribution of data related to student behaviour using ClassCharts. You will also be responsible for supporting with theupkeep of the annual calendar and the planning and organisation of events over the course of the academic yearincluding Parents Evenings, event days and celebratory events.
You will be educated to A-Level standard with GCSE's in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent).Apart from this it's the right personality that we are looking for to undertake this role. You will be a morningperson, pro-active self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to prioritiseunder pressure. Previous experience in a school environment or similar role is not essential as full training will beprovided, however this would be of benefit.
This role is to work 36 hours per week on a term time only+ basis. The role requires that you work normal termtimes plus Professional Development days in addition to the pre-results days, and results days in August of eachyear (normally working the last 2 weeks). The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 7am until 3pm (this aspectis non negotiable as Cover needs to be planned for lessons starting at 8.40am). The salary of £21,375 per annumhas already been pro-rata'd and therefore this is the actual salary you will receive (before tax). The position is tostart as soon as possible.
