Science Teacher- South London
A Secondary school in South London is seeking Science Teachers for 3 long term roles, starting September 2019. The School delivers an outstanding quality of education to its students, aged 11-16. With a commitment to ongoing excellence, the School is currently undertaking quality improvement plans to ensure a continued high level of education.
With excellent organisational management, you will be working within a supportive team to continue developing your professional practice. The School community has a strong focus on building positive relationships and ensuring students feel they are supported in their academic endeavours.
A Little About You:
To be successful you will have experience teaching to a Year 7 - 10 Science curriculum. You will be an enthusiastic and motivated leader and plan for fun, hands-on inquiry-based leaning in the classroom. You will be able to differentiate and plan for individual students needs, whilst assessing learning through ongoing formative assessment. You will have clear communication skills and promote positive classroom behaviour, in line with school policy.
You will be required to ensure students are achieving their learning goals in preparation for their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). These will be full time, long term positions for the successful candidates.
Requirements for this Position:
To be considered for this position you will:
- Hold either a Bachelor of Education or a Post Graduate Degree in Education
- Ability to obtain Youth Mobility Visa, Ancestry Visa or hold a British/EU passport
- Relevant experience would be an advantage
