Children Centre Teaching Assistant

Career Teachers are seeking teaching assistants for flexible children centre work in South East London.

We have opportunities available for TA's wishing to do short term, flexible supply teaching work, locally to home.

We are looking for TA's who are able to work at least 2 day per week.

We are looking for experienced and newly qualified TA' s to join us for local supply opportunities. You may be looking for a better work/life balance, work that fits around other commitments, or the chance to try out some local Primary Schools before taking on your next permanent role.

The majority of our supply roles are booked in advance. Meaning that your diary will be booked up ahead of time.

We are looking for Primary TA's for flexible, ad hoc work in the London borough of Southwark. We work with Primary Schools across South East London, who are in need of TA's to cover for both planned and unplanned absences.

We are looking for TA's who are available for 2-5 days per week. We can offer you flexible teaching work that fits around your other commitments.

We are keen to hear from TA's who are available now, and those who are looking to start work in January.

We always strive to create a fair and honest working relationship with all of our TA's. We will not pressure you to accept work in year groups that you are not comfortable working in, or to travel to schools that are too far from home.

Over 60% of the supply work that we have available is for planned absences. Meaning that you will very often be booked for work in advance, rather than always waiting for early morning phone calls.

You will also find that you are going back to the same 5-10 schools on a regular basis. Meaning that your days will become easier as you get to know the staff, children and routines.
