Career Teachers are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic schools in Southport area of Liverpool.

This position will be in a mainstream school supporting a Year 3 child on a 1-1 basis, working under the direction of the teacher. This is a challenging role supporting behavioural needs, dedication and consistency is necessary for this role.

The working hours would be of any day Monday - Friday 08:30 - 3.30pm.

This school is in a great location, with plenty of parking around the school in a lovely neighbourhood in Southport.

This role will be supporting a child with additional learning needs and behaviour needs. Experience supporting challenging behaviour is required.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid & recognised childcare qualification or equivalent. (Or have long term experience working with children ages 7-11 years old.)
• Be fully dedicated to the role and have a can-do attitude.
• Be genuinely committed to enhancing the educational and personal development of the child you are supporting and the rest of the class.
• Hold an enhance DBS or obtain one through Career Teachers.
