Secondary Teaching Assistant

Career Teachers are currently recruiting for a classroom assistant to support a female student in year 10 on a one-to one basis, supporting with literacy and numeracy to GCSE level. This is a vibrant and high achieving mainstream school with a 'good' Ofsted rating. To support the individual, applicants should have experience with low-level ability students and anxiety disorders.

Start December 2023 - until July 2024, full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

To be considered for this position the ideal applicant will have the following;

• Experience working with children or young people with mental health difficulties.
• Ideally have English and Maths to grade C or above
• Be patient, supportive and a good listener.
• Have a DBS or be prepared to have one processed through Career Teachers
