We are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP, on a full-time basis. The school is based in Liverpool and is close to public transport links or has free on-site parking.

The role will involve supporting a group of secondary aged children with MLD, mild to moderate learning needs so some SEND experience will be needed.

The start date is 5th September 2022, working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday and will involve some movement through classes and subjects. You will be supported by subject leaders and head of years in the delivery of the sessions and assessments.

To be successful as an LSA, you will have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people (all settings considered)
  • Knowledge of special needs (SEND)
  • Flexibility to adapt to different needs and abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • To be able to commit to full time, Monday to Friday
  • A fully enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to get one in process)
