Career Teachers are currently working with a very well run and resourced mainstream primary school in Liverpool who are looking to add to their existing staff team. This fantastic school have the children and staff at the forefront in their care and inclusion is created for all for a personalised learning journey.
The school are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant with knowledge and experience of ADHD to work as a one to one and some group work. This will be done under the guidance and direction of the class teacher.
The child in Y4 needs support in and out of class and with peer friendships and groups. Encouragement and promotion of positive peer groups and activities will be carried out daily.
This exciting new role is due to start 5th September and is full time, Monday to Friday and will run until the end of the new academic year, potentially being extended further.
There is a competitive daily rate on offer and the school would like to appoint the right person so experience and/or knowledge of ADHD and similar conditions would be an advantage. You must have primary based experience to be considered for this role.
