Humanities Teacher (KS3 History and Geography)

Are you a qualified teacher of Humanities specialising in either History or Geography but comfortable in teaching both subjects? Career Teachers are recruiting for a full time Teacher of Humanities to cover KS3 Geography and History for a full time, long term requirement within one of our partnered Secondary schools in Sheffield.

You will be working within an innovative Secondary school setting in Sheffield who aim to provide all students with an inclusive learning environment, providing support for children to become the best versions of themselves and achieve their goals. You will mainly be working with KS3 students, however some lower KS4 teaching may be required.

This is the ideal opportunity if you are looking for a position that will allow you to build strong relationships with students from the beginning of the academic year, supporting mainly across KS3 teaching Geography and History, bringing humanities to life, and creating memorable learning journeys within these subjects.

To be successful for this role, you will hold QTS or have at least 2 years experience as an unqualified Teacher with a degree in either History with a keen interest in Geography, or vice versa, and the ability to plan and deliver exciting lessons in line with the National curriculum.
