Teacher of Humanities - all specialisms considered

Career Teachers are currently supporting a mainstream secondary school in Oldham, Greater Manchester, who wish to appoint a Humanities Teacher on a permanent basis across KS3 and KS4 as soon as possible or from January 2024.

The school are ideally seeking a general Humanities Teacher who is able to teach across all Humanities subjects, however they would consider making this position a specialist role in History, Geography or Religious Studies.

This large, diverse secondary school are seeking a Teacher who has a real passion for Humanities and is dedicated and committed to achieving the best results across both key stages. The current department has some highly experienced Teachers who will support you on your journey at the school. Evidence of achieving successful outcomes at KS4 is desirable, although ECTs will be considered for the post.

To be considered, you will -

• have a Humanities specialism degree
• hold a PGCE and UK QTS
• ideally be able to evidence successful outcomes at KS4
• be committed and passionate
• be willing to contribute to the wider school life
