The Headmistress is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Head of Science to teach science to Years 3 to 6 on a part time (4 days/week) basis, and lead the science department throughout the school.

The successful candidate will:

  • have Qualified Teacher Status with experience of teaching EYFS, KS1 & KS2 Science
  • have the ability to engage and inspire pupils, staff and parents
  • display a passion for science which is evident in day to day classroom practice
  • have an understanding of the London day school system and preparing pupils for competitive exams in Year 6
  • be an effective communicator with parents and colleagues both in and out of school;
  • be highly motivated and able to motivate others.
