Career Teachers are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Teaching Assistant to work as an HLTA at an OUTSTANDING Primary School near Wimbledon.

  • HLTA position
  • Full time - 5 days per week
  • Start date 6th January 2020
  • London Borough of Merton
  • Salary between £70-100 per day (depending on experience)

You will be part of a team of experienced HLTAs who, together with the Class Teachers, work to plan and deliver inspiring lessons to children through the year groups at this Primary School.

This role requires you to be flexible and comfortable teaching across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. On occasion you may also be asked to act as classroom support, but the majority of your time will be spend covering classes in the absence of the Teacher.

The school is based within the London Borough of Merton, close to the Wimbledon area. There are excellent transport links nearby.


You will either have experience working as an HLTA or have covered classes as part of your role as a Teaching Assistant.
