Primary Schools in North London Boroughs of Camden, Brent, Haringey, Barnet, Harrow and Enfield are looking for Higher Level Teaching Assistants to teach children in Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
Currently, there is work for: *Long-term contracts *Short-term contracts *Daily supply (Ad hoc to suit you)
As a HLTA you would need to:
-Have previous experience of being within a HLTA role within a UK Primary School -Be aware of planning, marking and assessment for when covering classes-Have an understanding around the structure of lessons when teaching primary aged children-Be able to adapt a plan accordingly to meet the needs of the children in the lesson -Have recent and relevant teaching experience in the UK showcasing your knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and/or Development Matters if teaching in EYFS -Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work -Be a warm and approachable character as you will be interacting with children, staff and parents -Have excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills -Provide two references, one including your current employer and the other from the past 3 years
