A friendly and community-focused special needs secondary school in Hillingdon is currently seeking an speech and language therapist to join their current therapy team on a part-time basis (36 hours per week).
Currently rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, the school specialises in working with students with moderate and complex needs. They are seeking an experienced and versatile practitioner to work across their diverse student body, who have a wide variety of conditions including autistic spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, respiratory, neurological and neuromuscular pathologies.
In addition, the role offers an exciting range of opportunities including assessment, group work, one to one therapy and class-based interventions, all in collaboration with their supportive team of teachers, therapists and rehabilitation assistants.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player who is able to adapt to working with a range of experienced professionals. With a background in SEND, they will also be energetic, and enthusiastic about working within an education setting.
