Are you an experienced Science teacher? Would you like a permanent position in a supportive and newly formed secondary school in Redbridge with lively and focussed pupils for the next academic year?

Career Teachers are recruiting for an academy entering in to its second year in Redbridge for a full time Science teacher for September 2020. Our school will cater for pupils aged 11 to 18 years when it is fully developed. Due to a second intake of pupils joining the academy they are looking for an experienced Science teacher to join their very fledgling faculty. The trust has a proven track record of providing quality teaching to children in inner city areas, producing exceptional results at GCSE level. The successful candidate will have good experience of working with gifted and talented pupils yet the ability to differentiate their lessons to ensure all pupils achieve above expectations. This is a large school with excellent career progression opportunities for the right candidate.

Person Specification - Science Teacher - Redbridge

The successful Teacher will be proactive, engaging and inspiring; plan and prepare learning opportunities tailored to the individual needs of each child; assess individual learning needs and work on a group and class basis; maintain positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policies; through effective marking, monitor pupils' work and set targets for progress; assess and record pupils' progress systematically and keep records to check work is understood and completed, monitor strengths and weaknesses, inform planning and recognise the level at which the pupil is achieving; be committed to ensuring pupils make good sustained progress and encourage pupils to reach their full potential through engaging and stimulating teaching.

Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
