Career Teachers is recruiting for fantastic Primary schools in Newham for long term SENCo roles. The roles are to start in September but may allow for a period of time this academic year for an easier transition.

Person Specification - Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo)
The successful SENCo will assess individual learning needs across school and work with pupils and staff to develop plans and strategies to meet pupils' needs; through effective monitoring pupils' work and set targets across Key Stages for progress; systematically assess and record pupils' progress and keep records to check needs are being met and targets worked towards and completed; be committed to ensuring pupils make good sustained progress and encourage pupils to reach their full potential in all year groups.
Applicants will require to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National SENCo Award (NASENCo).
Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Career Teachers.
About the Role - Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) - East London, Newham
As a SENCo you will be leading on planning across the school, making sure needs are appropriately met and resources available, and line managing Learning Support Assistants. These are full time, long term SENCo roles, starting from £140, reflecting experience and qualification.
