Person Specification - Key Stage 2 Teacher - Brent, North West London
The successful Teacher will be proactive, engaging and inspiring; assess learning needs of each individual pupil and work on a group and class basis; maintain positive behaviour management strategies, in line with school policies; monitor pupils' work through dynamic marking, and set future targets for progress; assess and record pupils' progress systematically and keep records to check understanding, monitor strengths and weaknesses, inform further planning and recognise the level at which the pupil is achieving; be committed to ensuring pupils make good sustained progress and encourage pupils to reach their full potential through engaging and stimulating teaching.
Successful Applicants will be subject to references and an up to date DBS with the update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS through Career Teachers.
About the Role - Key Stage 2 Teacher
As a Primary Teacher you will be leading a Key Stage 2 class with approximately 25 pupils, and up to 2 other staff. This is a full time, long term Primary Teacher role with competitive rates of pay, starting from £130 per day, reflecting experience and workload.
