We work in partnership with various SEN settings across Leeds who require short term cover in their classes, covering for sickness and absence on short notice. Due to the nature of the work this works well for students or part time workers who are looking for extra work around previous commitments.
You can advise us of the days you will be available for work and we will offer you what work we have available on those days.
- You must have some background of working in either a classroom setting or supporting students with SEND in some capacity.
- You must be reliable and flexible, able to take on work at short notice and make a good impression when you are within the school.
-You will be working with students who have a variety of different needs therefore you must be adaptable, able to think on your feet and react quickly to situations you are presented with.
-You will be working with vulnerable students who need extra support and a calming and nurturing presence, therefore we are looking for people who are confident in their ability to manage challenging behaviours.
