Educational Support Worker Required - Asap Start

We are currently working with a Specialist Setting in a central area of Leeds that require an additional educational support worker to join their successful team as soon as possible. This will be a full time role and the working hours are between 8:45 and 16:30 Monday to Friday.

This is an ideal role for someone who comes from a care background, you will be supporting children and young adults who have complex learning needs (CLN) with all aspects of the day. This will include some aspects of personal care. The setting adapts a person-centred approach to learning and development, the students are at the heart of what they do. They have excellent resources on site to cater for the unique and complex needs of the students.

Their main goal is to prepare the students for adulthood and life outside of education, you will be doing a lot of life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and getting the students used to social situations. Your main aim will be to make a difference and build confidence by building strong relationships and creating a calm and inclusive environment.
