At Career Teachers we are seeking to appoint several Learning Support Assistants for an Outstanding SEN school in Leeds.

The school cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. You will be working under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils, ensuring inclusivity for all within the classroom.

This is an excellent opportunity to experience working within specialist provision. Posts range from working with pupils with autism, challenging behaviours, complex and moderate learning difficulties, and physical needs. These posts are full time, due to begin in September 2022.

This an extremely rewarding and fulfilling role where you get to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable students. Training such as Makaton, PECs, Intensive Interaction and Team Teach would be advantageous but these can be provided.
