Are you a confident, passionate teaching assistant, with experience supporting students with special educational needs?

If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join a supportive and successful team at a SEN School in Leeds.

These are full time roles, due to begin this September and be on-going.

You must have some previous experience of supporting vulnerable children or adults with special educational needs such as autism, physical needs and communication difficulties. Your main duty as a special needs teaching assistant is to ensure that, under the guidance of the class teacher, students are engaged in learning and feel that they have a calm and safe learning environment.

It is important that you can build trusting and meaningful relationships with the students and that you have a passion for ensuring that everyone has equal access to learning and that the classroom is inclusive.

Relevant training and qualifications would be beneficial.
