Opportunity with Immediate start;

We are currently looking to recruit a Education Assistant who holds BSL Level 2 certificate.

Education Assistant required for a Secondary school in South East London.

The EA must have British Sign Language Level 2 certificate.

This is an immediate start.

You will be required to support a student on a one to one basis translating lessons to the student.

You will be required to work closely with both class teachers and the student to ensure that the student is getting access to the curriculum.

You will support in regular assessment of the student to ensure that teaching and learning are taking place and help to support and develop any strategies to enable learning to take place.

You must be able to develop a quick rapport with the student.

You will fully support the student in all areas of their learning.

It is essential that you have the official BSL Level 2 certificate.

This is a long term opportunity for the right candidate, but it is essential that you have the relevant qualifications, skills and experience to ensure that the student progresses in their study.

The school will provide full support with access to resources and facilities.
