Are you a qualified Geography teacher who'd be interested in teaching Geography in a school described by Ofsted as 'Outstanding' in October 2016 on a permanent or long term supply basis from September 2017.

The school is a mixed secondary school with a wealth of character and a diverse student body. The Geography teaching position has become available due to a maternity leave so in the first instance the role will run until the end of the academic year.

You will be responsible for teaching Geography across KS3 - KS5 to mixed ability and streamed sets so you must be a detailed planner with clear differentiation strategies. The Geography department is furnished with excellent ICT facilities and resources and the team is an experienced and supportive group that share best practice at all times, which in turn promotes a strong team ethos.

The school has over 1500 students on the roll. Teaching and learning was graded as outstanding by OFSTED in 2016 as well as pastoral support and leadership. The school has a diverse student population which creates variety and character which is evident when visited.
