An Outstanding Primary school based in Finchley, North London are currently seeking a Music specialist Primary Teacher to work as a Music Coordinator and join their team starting in September 2021. The school is three form entry and based in the picturesque areas of Finchley with fantastic transports links on the Northern Line, main line train, car and bus.
Within this role you would be joining a dynamic, enthusiastic team who are led by a very effective and established senior management team. The school are looking for a Music Coordinator who likes to work collaboratively with other staff and is able to inspire children and spark their enthusiasm.
This school has incredibly low staff turn over and Teacher rarely leave, mentioning that they wish they had found it early in their teaching careers. There is a good dynamics within the classes with many gifted and talented students, the children respond well to creative and holistic lesson styles, where they are able to express themselves, because of this the school are looking for a Teacher who is able to motivate pupils to achieve their potential and who is committed to raising standards.
Within this role you will be required to lead school productions as well as lead music within assemblies, ideal candidates would have experience playing the piano to accompany.

Person Specification - Music Co-ordinator-Barnet
To be successful in your application you must have a natural approach to teaching, inspiring young learners and maintaining high expectations in regards to attainment and personal development of all students.
You must be confident in planning, preparation and delivery the Music curriculum.
A PGCE of equivalent qualification and hold QTS
You must be able to provide sufficient references
