Intervention Teaching Assistant-Oldham

Career Teachers are working with a Secondary Alternative Provision in the Oldham area who are looking for a full-time intervention teacher/Teaching Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering small group sessions. If successful, the candidate will be expected to plan sequences of work for Students of varying abilities, working closely with the class teacher for each year group.

To apply to this role, you will need the following:

• Teaching Assistant Experience
• Experience working across the Secondary age range.
• Passion for teaching
• High expectations of behaviour
• EHCP / SEN Experience
• 1-1 Support Knowledge

Responsibilities:

• To plan and deliver creative small group sessions to children in KS3/KS4
• To mark and assess all work completed.
• To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
• Support and engage students with high SEN needs.
