Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA )

Career Teachers are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work at a local Primary School within the Oldham area. The position is due to begin in asap on a temporary basis with the potential for going to full time.

Are you able to interact and easily engage with Primary age pupils? Do you have a passion for education and helping to encourage learning and development? If so, then we want to speak to you.

The role of a Teaching assistant is a fast paced and varied one with no two days being the same.

Key Attributes required:

• At least 3 months' experience working with primary age children
• A passion and desire to engage with pupils
• An ability to support the classroom teacher and raise standards
• Working on a 1-1 basis, in small groups and with the whole class
• Ability to cover teaching lessons in absence of teacher.

Have you recently been a Teaching assistant and qualified as a higher-level teaching assistant. Do you have recent experience working with children within primary schools. Do you have the desire to develop your teaching skills.
