The school is an oversubscribed 2 form entry independent girl school. They are based centrally in the London Borough of Camden and have a successful senior leadership team who are consistently focused on teacher development, teaching and learning using modern methods and ensuring the school has high quality resources and facilities in order to provide the best quality teaching and learning. They offer consistent progression for staff and are looking for a teacher who is passionate about their role as an educator.
Within this role you will be Coordinating Mathematics across KS2 and managing 1 other member of teaching staff. You be focused on the 11 plus exams and curriculum across Year 5 and 6. You will be responsible for ensuring pupils and learning and progress are monitored effectively in line with the 11 plus exams, and that the teaching within the department is an outstanding standard.
The school are looking for a Head of Mathematics who is a team player, and able to inspire children and spark their enthusiasm. Applicants must be able to motivate pupils and staff to achieve their potential and be committed to raising standards. This role would suit a Primary Teacher with a specialism in maths or someone who is currently working as a Mathematics Coordinator within a Primary setting.

To be successful in your application you must have:
- A natural approach to teaching, inspiring young learners and maintaining high expectations in regards to attainment and personal development of all students.
- You must be confident in planning, preparation and delivery the KS2 curriculum.
- A PGCE of equivalent qualification and hold QTS
- You must be able to provide sufficient references
